Abstract:  Designing and building the ultimate reliability into new plants or modifications to existing operations is the way of the future, if you want to stay competitive. Many companies are moving their businesses out of the US with the expectation of utilizing cheap labor forces around the world. Some have been successful and others have failed due to not being able to develop the labor force skills to produce quality products. Two US companies that have built plants across the border of Mexico spend $500k per year sending US engineers and supervisors every week to train and work on quality issues.

Bio:  Terry Harris, CMRP, Reliable Process Solutions  
Mr. Harris is a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional, certified through The Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals. He worked in the manufacturing/process industry for 26 years. Most of his time was devoted to maintenance area efforts with most of his career being devoted to improving the reliability of his plant and other US and European locations. He has performed RCM analysis to critical equipment and processes within many industries with excellent results. Mr. Harris has performed training in the US, and 10 other countries.

Mr. Harris also owns his own company Reliable Process Solutions in which he performs training in the areas of Predictive technologies and Proactive Maintenance techniques. He has developed many Proactive maintenance programs to bring maintenance operations to a more efficient and profitable stage. Many of the training programs teach companies how to make equipment last longer. These methods have been proven to extend equipment life by 3-8 times.

Bruce Baughman started his career in industrial plant operations, design and construction in 1980 as a Co-op engineer with A.E. Staley/Decatur, IL. Over the past 26 years he served in various plant and corporate capacities with ADM, Dupont/Solae (formerly Protein Technologies International), Kraft, Cargill, Abitec Corp and ITG before joining GreenHunter in 2007.

Mr. Baughman has demonstrated successful results in design, project management, construction management and design/build in many manufacturing sectors and unit operations.
