Ultrasound World IV was an incredible learning experience for all. Here is a selected sampling of Presentations that were offered throughout the conference.

Abstract: Creating supply chain partnerships in the maintenance and reliability field has been a topic of discussion for the last several years. Creating a “win-win” relationship for the suppliers and customers is one of the goals of this strategy.  This strategy and path requires much different attitudes and behaviors that has normally been employed in “adversarial transaction based” supply relationships.

Tim Goshert, Cargill’s Worldwide Reliability and Maintenance Manager, has been involved in the strategy development, supplier selection process and implementation phase of Cargill’s Select Supplier process for the M&R products and services for the past decade. 

Tim will discuss the differences in benefits and value between a supply chain partnerships and adversarial based relationships. He will talk about the fundamentals the strategy development and supplier selection process. He will relate some of his experiences from implementing these processes in the maintenance and reliability field.
