Keynote Presentation: “Show Me The Reliability”
Keynote Speaker:
Ricky Smith, CMRP, Senior Technical Advisor, Allied Reliability, Inc, Charleston, SC

Abstract:  This is one Keynote presentation you do not want to miss! Ricky Smith uses his down to earth jargon and common sense messaging to discuss reliability in this inspiring message to kick off the UE World conference.

You’ve probably seen the movie Jerry Maguire starring Tom Cruise as Jerry and Cuba Gooding, Jr. as professional athlete Rod Tidwell.  From this movie comes possibly one of the best-known movie lines of all times.  As you might recall, Tidwell tests Jerry's resolve through a very long telephone conversation, which culminates in the famed "Show Me the Money!" telephone yelling match between Rod and Jerry!

In Ricky’s Keynote he will focus on a similar theme "SHOW ME THE RELIABILITY”!   He’ll explain how Optimizing Reliability can allow the Jerry’s of the world of reliability maintenance to show their companies the Money! There won’t be any yelling matches, but if YOUR resolve is being tested by those who really want to “see the money” from a reliability initiative, then this keynote is a not to miss event!

How many times have seen your company move forward two steps and back one when trying to increase revenue or reliability? Over time, you’ll deteriorate the morale when initiative after initiative is unsuccessful and the hard work of the maintenance staff goes unrewarded.

Ricky will talk the “fabled” companies who are the Best in Maintenance and Reliability that so many maintenance and reliability professionals have heard of, but few have seen. Ricky will inspire you with examples of successful companies who have “Shown the Reliability” and of course continue to “See the Money”!

Ricky will reveal the common threads of successful companies and explain how many of these companies manage reliability in a simple but disciplined manner and he will expose the common mistakes made by companies when trying to improve or optimize asset reliability in their plants. Do not miss this exciting Keynote Presentation!

Remember: In the movie, after months of harsh words and criticism directed towards one another, the two embrace in front of other athletes and sports agents and showed how their relationship has progressed from a strictly business one to a close personal one! Ricky’s keynote message can guide you toward achieving that culture change, that buy-in that will allow that sort of nurturing relationship to be fostered.
