New DMS Software Helps to Reduce Carbon Footprint & Increases Efficiency
UE Systems, Inc., the recognized global leader
in the development and distribution of the world's most advanced
ultrasonic detection systems for plant management professionals,
recently upgraded their data management software (DMS) for use with
UE Systems digital Ultraprobes. This upgrade will significantly
help technicians analyze the cost of faulty equipment, calculate
revenue earned from repaired vs. non-repaired leaks, evaluate a
plant's energy loss and associated carbon footprint, while ensuring
their plant is efficient, safe and profitable.
"We are very excited about our DMS software upgrade," says
Gary Mohr, the Vice President of Sales and Operations for UE
Systems. "The new DMS offers great advantages and is very
intuitive. It's simple to download, extremely effective for
inspection management and offers breakthrough features such as drag
and drop of data for customized reporting, data fields to view
energy waste and a plant's carbon footprint, the ability to select
exact components for route analysis and reporting, and the
opportunity to add images to a historical record. It also allows
its users it even develop trend charts, setup alarm groups, and
enable reports." Other features of the new software upgrade include
the ability to open and analyze a sound sample via the UE
Spectralyzer, and the capacity to indicate cost avoidance and the
potential of lost or saved energy dollars via a simplified Excel
spreadsheet.
Mohr went on to say, "Our new software will help improve the way
plant technicians inspect routes and manage their overall
predictive maintenance program - including how they impact the
environment. With compressed gas survey freeware now integrated
with DNS rate data, highlighting potential savings vs. cost in all
aspects of plant reliability has never been easier."
UE Systems is the worldwide leader in the manufacture of
ultrasonic detection equipment. For more than 35 years, they have
offered cutting edge ultrasound technology supported by hardware,
software, numerous workshops and custom training programs that
