Where are you from and what did you study in school?
Joe: Louisville, Kentucky (Go Cards) Telecommunications. Must explain why I like to talk ?
Do you have any family?
Joe: Wife, 2 kids (both girls) 2 dogs, and a brother & sister.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Joe: HAM Radio, Sip bourbon and grill a nice steak. Mess with my saltwater tanks ?
What jobs did you have before working with UE Systems?
Joe: What didn’t I do before UE? I’ve been a telemarketer (worst job ever) in my teenage years. I was the King of cars at CarMax. I’ve worked for Samsung which was the second-best job I had. That job led me to be a general manager for Yum! Now I’m here at UE Systems living the dream.
What was your first impression of the maintenance & reliability community?
Joe: Man, these people are smart. It’s truly the backbone of the world.
What’s surprised you most about what you could do with ultrasound technology?
Joe: Listen to my eyelashes blink.
Do you have any hidden talents?
Joe: If I told you it wouldn’t be hidden. I did however play the drums in concert with Shania Twain when I was 14.
What’s your best childhood memory?
Joe: All the moments I had with my parents.
What is the best piece of advice you have received?
Joe: Don’t worry about what you can’t control and focus on what you can. & He who laughs last laughs the longest.
What Animal Are You Like?
Joe: I would be a Lion crossed with a house cat & monkey. I have loud roar and I’m on my 5th life. I had a few brushes with death. Let’s just say I could write a book or movie.

Joe: That it’s the greatest place to work.
