Where are you from and what did you study in school?

Alex: Born in Eleuthera, Bahamas, grew up in Houston, TX. Was a Sociology and Health Major at the University of Houston (Go Coogs!)

What do you like to do in your free time?

Alex: Love watching basketball and football. In the Fall I coach middle school football part-time.

What jobs did you have before working with UE Systems?

Alex: I spent a short time in the NFL with the Bengals then I worked in Non-profit focused on after school programs and free meals.

What was your first impression of the maintenance & reliability community?

Alex:Very straight forward and practical. My contacts in the community usually know what they need, I just help them put a name to it.

What has surprised you the most about what you could do with ultrasound technology?

Alex: The electrical component. An ultraprobe allows you to detect the harmful/dangerous elements from a safe distance.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Alex: I like to cook; I have a few dishes that are popular with the family.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?

Alex: Stocks and trading.

Post-Covid, what’s a destination you hope to get to?

Alex: The Bahamas.

Alex: Cake!

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, past or present, who would it be and why?

Alex: Dwayne The Rock Johnson

What’s your best childhood memory?

Alex: Got a bike for my 8th birthday as a last-minute surprise at my party.

What is the best piece of advice you have received?

Alex: “If It’s important, you’ll make time for it” – Tony Levine

Do you have any movie or TV show recommendations?

Alex: ‘Gangs of London’ on AMC is one of the best shows no one is talking about

What is your biggest guilty pleasure?

Alex: Binging a new TV show or playing ‘Age of Empire’ on the PC for hours

What is the most important thing you have learned while working with UE Systems?

Alex: There is always something you can lean or improve your knowledge on.
